For people who believe some stories deserve to be remembered.
Commissions
Some stories deserve more than a photograph.
Whether it's a beloved horse, a favorite ranch, a family legacy, a meaningful place, or a person whose story deserves to be remembered, my commission process is designed to create artwork that captures more than a likeness—it captures meaning.
Every commission begins with a conversation. I want to learn about the people, places, memories, and values that make your story unique. Through photographs, discussion, and collaboration, I'll gather the details that matter most and transform them into an original painting created specifically for you.
My work is inspired by themes of grit, redemption, faith, freedom, adventure, and the enduring spirit of the American West. While every commission is different, my goal is always the same: to create a piece that feels personal, authentic, and worthy of the story it represents.
Because each painting is created by hand and receives my full attention, commission availability is limited throughout the year. Commissions are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you are interested in commissioning an original artwork, please complete the inquiry form below. I'll personally reach out to discuss your project, answer any questions, and determine whether we're a good fit to work together.
I look forward to hearing your story.

These commissions are for people who believe that some stories deserve to be remembered.
They're for those who value meaning, connection, and the things that make a life unique. Whether it's a beloved horse, a family ranch, a treasured landscape, a person who shaped your life, or a memory too important to be forgotten, these paintings are created to honor what matters most.
They're for collectors who are drawn to storytelling and symbolism. People who see more than a cowboy, a horse, or a landscape in a painting. People who recognize themes of grit, faith, redemption, freedom, adventure, and legacy because those values have shaped their own lives.
These commissions often become meaningful gifts for spouses, parents, children, ranching families, retirees, and anyone wishing to celebrate a milestone, preserve a family story, or commemorate a chapter of life worth remembering.
Whether you come with a clear vision or simply a story you want to preserve, these commissions are for those who want more than a painting. They're for those who want a piece of artwork that carries personal meaning and tells a story that can be shared for generations.

Once your commission is confirmed, we'll begin with a conversation. This can take place by phone, video call, or email—whatever feels most comfortable for you. During this conversation, I'll learn more about the story you want to tell, the people, places, memories, values, or experiences that make the piece meaningful.
You may come with a clear vision, reference photos, and specific ideas, or simply a story you'd like preserved. Together, we'll discuss the subject matter, composition, size, color palette, and overall feeling you'd like the painting to capture.
After our conversation, you'll provide any reference photos that will help inform the artwork. These may include photographs of people, horses, ranches, landscapes, heirlooms, or other meaningful elements connected to your story. The more context you can provide, the more personal and authentic the final piece can become.
From there, I'll begin transforming those memories and ideas into an original painting. Throughout the process, my goal is not simply to recreate a photograph, but to create a work of art that captures the spirit, story, and significance behind it.
The result is a one-of-a-kind painting created specifically for you—a piece designed to honor what matters most and become part of your family's story for years to come.

Creative Process & Revisions
Every commission begins with a conversation and is built around the story, memories, people, places, and values that make the piece meaningful. While I work closely with each collector to understand their vision, the finished painting is ultimately an artistic interpretation rather than an exact recreation of a photograph.
Because of this, I do not offer complete repaints, major redesigns, or refunds once work has begun.
If something feels slightly off, I'm happy to discuss reasonable adjustments when possible. My goal is always to create a painting that feels authentic to your story while remaining true to the artistic vision that inspired it.
The best commissions happen when there is clear communication from the beginning. That's why our initial conversation is such an important part of the process. The more I understand what matters most to you, the better I can create a painting that captures the spirit and significance behind the subject.
When commissioning a piece, you're not simply hiring me to copy a reference or photograph. You're trusting me to create a work of art that honors the story behind it. I encourage collectors to approach the process with an open mind and a willingness to embrace the creative interpretation that makes an original painting unique.
My hope is that the finished piece feels less like a reproduction and more like a meaningful reflection of the people, places, and memories that inspired it.
